Certified Pharmacy Technician

Position Qualification/Requirements:
o Possess and maintain a current certification and registration by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

o Possess one (1) of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician within the last three (3) years.
Specific Duties:
o Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
o Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
o Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician's requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.

o Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
o Perform supply process duties including assisting with new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, producing not in stock reports.
o Utilize pharmacy computer and robotic systems in accordance with MTF protocols.
Work Scheduled:
The HCWs shall provide services Monday through Friday, excluding the day of observance of Federal holidays, between the hours of 0700 and 2000, Saturday & Sunday between the hours of 0900 - 1300. The HCWs shall be assigned either an 8.5-hour shift to include an uncompensated .5 hour meal break or a 9-hour shift to include an uncompensated 1 hour meal break. The HCWs shall not exceed 80 hours in a two-week period. The specific schedule for the HCWs for each two-week period will be scheduled one month in advance by the supervisor.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
