Position Summary
Leads one or more Warehouse Technician(s) in the daily warehousing operations of military residential communities, providing support to all of Military Residential Management departments. Directs and oversees the receipt, coordination and safety of goods that are inventoried and distributed throughout the organization. Monitors regulatory compliance and company policies and procedures related to community management and ensure that all Warehouse Associates are familiar with and understand them.
Other Responsibilities
Provides ongoing work assignments for associates.
Provides on-the-job training to associates and monitors progress.
Schedules work hours for associates.
Coaches associates for performance improvement.
Education
Requires High School Diploma/GED; must have a valid current state's driver's license.
Preferred Level of Education
Associates Degree
Work Experience
Must have 3-5 years experience as warehouse Technician and an Associate's Degree is preferred.
Other Skills
Attention to detail and ability to work with others and foster an environment of team work.
May be required to work overtime, on-call or be available for emergency situations including weekends and holidays. Manual dexterity and coordination needed to operate equipment which may include forklift operation and/or company vehicles for pickup/delivery of materials. Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance and a physical examination will be required.
Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail and good mathematic skills. Ability to work with others and foster an environment of team work. Ability to deal with people with skill and diplomacy. Must possess good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and general knowledge of property management or other billing software.
